Biography
Fashion Historian and owner, Bonnie
Hansen is an avid collector of antique clothing.
She has
worked with the motion picture industry as a costumed extra, and has
provided wardrobe to notable films like:

Steven Spielberg’s, Road
to Perdition, starring Tom Hanks and Paul Newman
-
Robert Altman’s, Kansas
City
- Ang Lee’s Civil War
drama, Ride With The Devil

Bonnie
was the Executive Producer for an award-winning PBS documentary
about Kansas City horsewoman Loula Long Combs and her father,
lumber baron R. A. Long.
She has also worked with the
Titanic exhibition, and she costumed the “ghosts” at the KC Rail
Experience at Kansas City Union Railway Station.
Bonnie speaks on a variety of topics
related to fashion history. Universities, historical societies and
senior centers are among her most frequent audiences, and she often
appears at the Victorian Trading Company Tea Room.
